VASTRAGO – TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Overview & Agreement to Terms

This website is operated by Vastrago. Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to Vastrago. By visiting our website (vastrago.com) and purchasing products from us, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, merchants, and content contributors. Please read them carefully before completing any transaction.

2. Brand Philosophy & Direct Sourcing

Vastrago curates and designs premium women's luxury ethnic wear, bridal ensembles, and celebratory garments. We source and manufacture directly with skilled artisans and master textile producers. By purchasing from Vastrago, you acknowledge the unique, artisanal nature of Indian textile manufacturing.

3. Craftsmanship, Fabric & Product Disclaimers

  • Handwork & Artisanal Embroidery: Many of our bridal and luxury lehengas feature intricate hand-embroidery (including zardozi, cutdana, sequins, pearl work, and fine threadwork). Because each piece is handcrafted individually by master artisans, subtle variations in motif placement, embroidery tension, dye lots, or minor initial shedding of embellishments during shipping are inherent characteristics of handwork and do not constitute manufacturing defects.

  • Machine-Crafted & Printed Collections: Garments crafted via high-precision machine embroidery or digital textile printing are engineered for pattern symmetry. Minor loose thread ends or natural slubs (irregularities in fiber thickness) inherent to natural and blended fabrics like pure silk, raw silk, organza, tissue, and georgette are natural outcomes of textile weaving.

  • Semi-Stitched Format: Unless explicitly designated as "Ready-to-Wear" in the product title and description, all lehengas and ethnic ensembles are delivered in a premium semi-stitched format. This allows clients the freedom to have the waist, length, and blouse tailored precisely to their measurements by their independent tailor. Vastrago is not liable for fit variations resulting from local tailoring alterations.

  • Color Calibration & Screen Variance: We photograph our garments under calibrated professional studio lighting to represent fabric colors as accurately as possible. However, because individual smartphone screens (AMOLED, OLED, LCD) and desktop monitors reflect colors with varying saturation, contrast, and brightness, slight tonal differences between screen images and the physical fabric in natural light may occur. Such variances do not qualify for returns or refunds.

4. Pricing, Taxes & Availability

  • All prices on our Indian storefront are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated otherwise at checkout.

  • For international orders, prices may be converted dynamically to the local currency. International customers are solely responsible for all applicable import tariffs, customs duties, and local clearance fees levied by the destination country.

  • Prices and product availability are subject to change without prior notice.

  • In the rare event that a product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or system error, Vastrago reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price, issuing an immediate and full refund.

5. Order Acceptance & Cancellations

  • Receipt of an order confirmation email does not signify our final acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to accept, decline, or limit order quantities at any time post-purchase for reasons including suspected fraudulent activity, unauthorized reseller purchasing, or inventory unavailability.

  • Orders may only be cancelled within 30 minutes of placement by emailing our Client Concierge at support@vastrago.com. Once this 30-minute window has elapsed, the order is locked into processing and cannot be cancelled or amended. Custom-tailored pieces cannot be cancelled once production commences.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All materials contained on vastrago.com—including product designs, bespoke photography, model imagery, catalog styling, branding, logos, text descriptions, graphics, and custom code—are the exclusive intellectual property of Vastrago and are protected by the Copyright Act, 1957, and Trademarks Act, 1999 of India. Any unauthorized downloading, copying, reproduction, commercial redistribution, or public display of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited and subject to legal prosecution.

7. User Conduct & Site Security

You agree not to use our site or services for any unlawful purpose, violate any national or international regulations, transmit harmful code or malware, or attempt to compromise site integrity or collect user data without authorization. A breach of these terms will result in immediate termination of your service access and potential legal action.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Our site, services, and all products delivered to you are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by Indian law. In no event shall Vastrago, its partners, directors, artisans, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the specific product in dispute.

9. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed severed from these Terms without affecting the validity and enforceability of remaining provisions.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service, along with any separate agreements whereby we provide you products or services, shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of India. Any legal disputes or claims arising out of or related to transactions on this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Gujarat, India.
